On 7th Oct 2019, Genvolt India Celebrates the Dussehra festival.

Dussehra is a 10 Day festival that symbolizes the conquest of good over evil.Durga Pooja is also a part of it which is celebrated on 9th day Ayudh Pooja is also a part of these festivals where Ayudh means machinery or tools.

Ayudh Pooja is conducted at the office by doing pooja of high voltage tools and equipment.

2018 Krishna Janmashtami: Janmashtami marks the birth anniversary of one of the most worshiped Hindu gods – Lord Krishna. Celebrated with great fervor in India and abroad, it is observed on the eighth day of the month of Bhadra, as per the Hindu Calendar.

Lord Krishna was believed to be born on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Bhadrapada (August – September), according to the Hindu calendar. He is considered to be the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. In Sanskrit, the ‘eighth day’ translates to ‘Ashtami’.
