Description

The Genvolt BP-18 is a fast switching high voltage power supply.

The power supply has two TTL-compatible input lines which select one of four preset voltage levels. The preset potentiometers are accessible through holes in the front of the unit.

Output DC current	500μA continuous but with switching pulse currents of the order of 100mA.
Capacitive load	Specified with 600pF load. Will work with higher or lower amounts of capacitance, though rise and fall times may change.
Rise and fall times	150μsec settling time to <0.5% for 10kV voltage change.
Switching frequency	60Hz continuous. May operate in bursts up to 300Hz typically. User to control average switching rate within acceptable limits. Please consult factory.
Dimensions	80mm high, 152mm wide and 215mm deep, excluding connectors

DC and control	15-way ‘D’
HV output	Proprietary connector based on Type ‘N’. Mating cable and connector supplied with PSU.
Environmental	Must be mounted onto ‘cold plate’ at or below 40C. Will operate without cold plate at reduced duty/frequency. -20C to +40C operational limits – consult factory.
